Tours of Station 19 are available upon request. Station tours last approximately 20 minutes and include viewing the fire engine and firefighting equipment, as well as talking to the firefighters about their job.
Tour Criteria
- Station 19 tours may be scheduled Monday through Sunday. Tours are scheduled on an individual basis.
- Group size must be 25 or fewer total participants (including children and chaperones).
- Fire stations remain "in-service" during tours. Fire companies may need to respond to emergencies at any time. Please keep this in mind when visiting.
- Dedicated volunteer firefighters will be required to escort the group and will not respond on calls. Tours are scheduled if and when personal are available to host the party. Saturday and Sunday mornings are the easiest to staff. Weeknights are also easy to cover.
- Tours are free but donations are encouraged.
"Friendly Firefighter", "Fire safety house", "Fire Safety Dog", "Fire Safety Video" and other special requests are available upon request based on station resources.
